A successful marriage for 31 years with Linda, of which words can't describe her love, affection and steadfast support for you. There will always be a place in my heart and the families for her enduring love for you. I will dearly miss our times together, your sheepish grins, laughs and unfailing sense of humor to the very end. I will miss our long conversations on the phone, our advice and care for all the family members.

I realize now you are not in pain or suffering, for that assurance I am at peace, but there is a void in my heart that will never be filled. I will not say goodbye for we will be a part for a short while, until we meet again.

God gives us grace and comfort in times like these. God also helps us to remember the good years we had together with Larkin. As I look back on Cody and my childhood years, Larkin and Linda played a huge role. Many wonderful memories and to mention a few are our many beach trips together, watching the first season of American Idol, to singing lots of songs with Larkin, but one song in particular that comes to mind is singing

Many wonderful memories and to mention a few are our many beach trips together, watching the first season of American Idol, to singing lots of songs with Larkin, but one song in particular that comes to mind is singing "When the Lion Sleeps Tonight" from Lion King and although he was very ill he recently sang that song with us. Another special song that will live forever in my heart is Larkin singing "Happy Birthday" on the evening before he passed away. It was truly the best gift I could receive. As a child to an adult I watched the special bond of love that Larkin and Linda shared - very rarely seeing them apart. Thank you Larkin and Linda for being that role model for Cody and I. You have always desired to see us excel in everything we do and are like Godparents to us. Now it is no secret that Larkin and Linda shared a special bond with my brother, Cody. From the moment Cody was born he captured their heart. If you know Cody he played every sport and guess who never missed a game, Larkin and Linda. They were his number #1 Fans. Thank you Larkin and Linda for the love and support through the years. Although Larkin was very ill he didn't stop giving advice or encouraging words to the point he was trying to match Cody up with the beautiful nurses and would say now there is nothing wrong with that. Larkin continued to say that he wanted to see all of his nieces and nephews grow up and thankfully he was blessed to see this and has given each of us special memories together.

Larkin you are truly a blessing from God and never will be forgotten. Larkin leaves us with many positive memories of his loving heart, his kindness, his humor and his joy with his family and friends.

Linda I love you and know we will miss Larkin very much but I believe he is smiling and watching over us today and forever. Linda we look forward to making more memories with you today and many days to come.

You have been an inspiration in your strength and courage through such a long journey. I know your strength came from God. You and Larkin both are great examples of grace in suffering - always keeping a good disposition and sunny smile through it all. Linda& family,So sorry to learn of the passing of Larkin.He was a great guy and good friend.He gave me rides to AHS during my High School days.We had a lot of fun on the way to school every morning.He could sing like Kitty Wells and keep you laughing all the way to school.I know he will be missed by all who loved and cared for him.You all will be in my thoughts and prayers now and in the days ahead.
