Memories & Candles
I only had the pleasure of knowing "Mama Rose" for only a short period of time but I came to love her very much. She was one of the sweetest, most kind woman that I ever had the pleasure of knowing. She always had a smile on her face and a great attitude along with a great sense of humor. Now it is her turn to watch from above all those that she loved. May God Bless her and may her family always remember the love that she showed us all.

What joy and a privilege to have known Rose Hopkins!
A wonderful woman, who lived a long and blessed life! I praise God that she was able to enjoy an independent life into her Ninety's. More importantly, I praise God that she went home to our Lord Jesus, peacefully.
My memories will be the times when i visited with her, and she showed me her sitting room with all of the family photos. Her genuine hospitably and most importantly her love

Sweet Auntie Rose, I will miss her and her great way of always calling everyone
Honey. My memories of her are from Conn. My big cousin Bernard would always tease my little sister JoAnn and I and Richie would usually come to our rescue.
Rose Marie would always be getting ready to go out with her friends after white polishing her more than white tennis shoes.
Auntie Rose was always smiling and loved us all so very much .She will be greatly missed.
God Bless you Auntie Rose and keep smiling up there-- Love to all of our cousins.

My strongest memories are going to Hartford, Conn to visit with my Mum, Dad and my sister Jan. That big house with the barn in the backyard.....the dog, Sarge, who always greeted us with two paws in the air......and I was promptly on the ground. Ha! Remember laughing and joking with Cousin Richie and Rose Marie. Aunt Rose was one of the sweetest ladies I ever knew. I will NEVER forget her or her loving ways... God Bless you Auntie Rose.

Our family consisting of Gloria and Leon Gray and children Eddie, Elizabeth, and Cathy Gray will forever continue to be endeared to Rose. We first met her when she babysat our children. She was such a loving and sweet person and we always kept in touch. We are so appreciative that she came into our lives. Her son Richard and children and daughter Rose Marie are also special to us.
We are so glad that Rose Marie also kept in

Grandma Rose was kind, loving and devoted to her children. She would have done anything in the world for them. She was very proud of her family and their accomplishments. She was a loving and devout Catholic. I remember growing up, she would take me to the church where she worked as a volunteer sorting and distributing food for people in need. I also remember her taking me to the annual church festival. She babysat for us often and would

My memories of Grandma Rose will last a lifetime and be passed to my children with great admiration and enthusiasm. She was very special to me and to all those that knew and loved her. She was the perfect interpretation of a loving grandmother who cared for family while her faith in the Lord was unbreakable. She did so many wonderful things for me growing up and I am so grateful to have had a grandmother like Rose. Rest in peace Grandma Rose, I love you.
