Tony and Annita - I wish I could be with you today as you celebrate your Mom's life and grieve her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and I am taking her request (that we remember her by being kind to each other) deeply to heart. Love, Edie

Mrs. Chiaramida, or "grandma" as she was affectionately known, was a bright, shining light. One need look no further than her three singular children to know the depth of her specialness. She was wise, kind, empathic, witty, and just plain wonderful. I am so thankful that our paths crossed. She left a mark on my soul and etched a place in my heart. I burn brighter because of her. Mrs. C., You have been a very important part of our lives - always there when we needed a friend, a mother, an angel. We will always remember your dining room on 89th Street and the food you so lovingly prepared and shared with everyone who arrived at your door. Personally, you taught these Irish girls that you could eat tomator sauce more than once a week. We are grateful that we got to visit with you last month and will remember you in our prayers and out hearts always.
Love,
Nancy & Karen
