Our heart goes out to you for you and you family's loss. Having shared a "Company Town", "Company School", "Company Store, Churches, Houses" amd every other factor of life since childhood created too many fond memories to list. As a young child I remember shooting basketball, playing softball and more at Slab Fork's Grade School, attending Sophia Highschool and working in the Number 8 Mine, not to mention playing poker and drinking beer at our "Company Houses". So sorry to learn of Bob's death. He was a good neighbor and real friend. The Greenbrier will not be the same. We will miss him. Virginia and Steve Crawford "Dale"

Sorry for your lost. May God be with you all. Bobby will surely be missed in Slab Fork. He always had a smile for everyone no matter where he was at or how he felt. We will miss seeing him at the meetings and at the Post Office. He done alot for this Community. Life in Slab Fork will never be the same.
