Ruth Handy Obituary

Used stop often at her home while traveling back and forth from Kalamazoo. Always welcomed us. Doug loved her date nut cake/bread and she gave me her recipe. Knew I made it right when he said it tastes almost as good as my Aunt Ruthie's.
Our thoughts are with you,
The Brooks' family

Although I only remember meeting Ruth once, I know that Bob cherished his cousins and that he was fond of Ruth along with the others. The South Bend family of Robert N. De Graff would like to express our deepest condolences to Ruth's family. We will remember her in our prayers.

Ruth and Alfred were like a 2nd family to me when growing up. Many a time Ruth would haul Denny and I out to Twin Lakes to go swimming. Spent many a day in the back yard with Denny and boxer Rocky, paper routes together, double dating. Went along with Ruth when Denny was at U of M hosipital. She was a strong lady who bore the loss of a son by her faith in God. I'm sure He and Denny have welcomed her home.

Bless you all.
