Jo Ann,

We were certainly shocked to hear that Paul has gone on to be with the Lord. It seems strange that the thing we long for the most leaves such a gaping hole for those that have to remain for a while. It seems like only yesterday that we were running around the UA campus preparing for life and wondering what it would bring. Little did we realize the grandness of the Plan or the paths that our lives would

We could fill a book with our memories of Paul. From the day we arrived in Belgium 19 years ago to today, Paul has been our Pastor and friend.

Paul has invested so much into our lives and always encouraged us to do two things, "Faith God" and "Just tell them about Jesus."

Our kids will always know him as Uncle Paul.

We will never forget all the time we spent together, all our discussions, and all the prayers.

This is not goodbye, this is not the end. We will be together again!

Paul and JoAnn have always been great neighbors. After April 27, 2011, they came over to share several meals with us, most notably the one where we ate our wedding cake top since the freezer was melting. It was good company and a good meal.

I'd never have guessed when I came over to exchange books with JoAnn two weeks ago that it would be the last time to see Paul.

Safe travels, Paul, and a welcome home at the

Twenty 20 years ago, God lead me to IBC Jurbise and because of His love in Pastor Paul and the IBC family I felt welcomed and at home. I thank God for that day and each day that I have known you, JoAnn and Pastor Paul.

JoAnn may you find comfort in lasting memories and may God's Peace explode in your heart. I love you. Linda

Jo Ann,

Our first meeting was in our home before we went to serve as pastor at IBC Jurbise, Belguim. Thanks for your support, prayers and freindship over the years. May God's present be forever sustaining to you. God bless, you are in our prayers. Ralph and Betty Warren

JoAnn, we were saddened to hear that Pastor Paul had gone on to be with The Lord. We also rejoice knowing the promise we have in Christ Jesus. We are praying for your peace in Him.

Pastor Paul was truly a spiritual father to me, who showed me Jesus and taught me to love and trust Him. I will be forever grateful to the Lord for our beloved Pastor, who was a faithful servant of the Lord and a fisherman of men.

Praise our Lord and King Jesus for a life well spent before Him!
