To Jan and Family,
I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of David. David and Jan has done many acts of random kindness for myself and their fellow co-workers at the U.S.P.S.. David and Jan loved to surprise me with gifts they acquired on their trips to their beloved Canada. I learned many valuable lessons from David.
He is and was a great educator of kindness, love, and compassion.

fond memories of working with dave on the flat sorter. His excitment at sharing his fly fishing stories and gifting to me a fly made by him. Because of dave i also took some tai chi classes. he was a very kind, patient man. my prayers are with the family in their time of loss.

Dave, our friendship was short, but you left a lasting impression. Thank you for your warm smile and hearty greeting every time we would see each other; I look forward to that again one day in Heaven. You were a man of your word "old-school" and I never saw anybody more serious about keeping a commitment. Thank you for the encouragement you gave to Adam, my son, for his fly tying, fishing, and art; your kindness and passion shined.
