I worked with Dan for 25 years at Deloitte. It was always apparent that he was one of the "good guys". He lived his faith every day and I know that I am a better person for having known him. Ann, I am so very sorry for your loss. I know how much you meant to him and I know how empty your life will seem without him. Just remember that God will help you day by day. Look to Him.

Dan was a fine guy and a credit to his family, community and profession. His life will have a lasting positive impact on the people he encountered and he will be missed.

Worked with Dan as the Partner over our account for many years and was always impressed with knowledge, willingness to help, friendship and always big smile. Sorry that I was not able to attend the service because we were babysitting our grandkids for the weekend of the service. Your family is in my prayers.

Dan will always be remembered by his friends and colleagues at Murray State University. He was an outstanding student and professional who always said yes when contacted by one of us here at Murray State.

One of our scholarships, graciously endowed by Dan and Ann, is named the Dan S. Duncan/Deloitte & Touche Fund for Excellence in Accounting. Students will benefit for years to come through this thoughtful gift from Dan and Ann, as will Dan's chosen profession.

When I joined the Memphis office, Dan and Anne welcomed our family to the community. Dan helped me transition to the office and get know our clients. He was kind and funny and always willing to help when things were tough and share the joys when things went well. We shared a love for sports, especially college basketball, and even through his health issues, he kept that enthusiam. He was a great partner and a dear friend. He will be missed.

It was a privelege to have worked with Dan during his professional development. I wish my health would have allowed a continuation of our friendship. Maxine and I will always remember and appreciate Dan and Ann taking us for dinner at the Cresent Club and appologizing that the PIC now wouldn't allow retired personnel at the office Christmas party. How gratious. .

I have fond memories of recruiting with Dan at some of the SEC schools. He always welcomed me to the team and helped me and others navigate new schools and traditions. My prayers and thoughts are with Dan's family.

Donna and I were so sorry to hear of your loss. We are praying that God will grant you that perfect peace that only He can provide during this trying time.

We remember Danny well from our time at Vanderbilt and know that he will be missed by so many people.

Dan was a great mentor, friend and partner. You could always count on Dan to roll up his sleeves and help tackle an issue - no matter how complex or difficult. And he always did so with a great attitude and a smile. He will certainly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
