It seems like just yesterday Elaine and Arthur were square dancing at their 50th Wedding anniversary and playing Dominoes in the Outer Banks. We will miss her!

I remember Elaine as the epitome of gentility - poised, always kind, graceful, warm, empathetic, and a friend to all. I was always delighted to see her and will cherish the memories I have.

This poem, written in 1932 by Mary Elizabeth Frye, has brought me great comfort in the past, and so I offer it here:

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
