Sylvan Ray Turner

Turner and I were in the same squad, we kept in touch and called one or the other every Christmas. I didn't know until he didn't answer his Christmas calls and I looked into it. We were stationed in Aschaffenburg Germany. He is the only Army person I kept in touch with-that is the way it was for Nam era troops.
The family has my deepest sympathy, Sylvan was a good person. I will miss my annual visits with him. God Bless

Ray was a good friend to us both. We had some wonderful times and memories of our tractor pulling days. Whenever we had a pull scheduled he was one of the first to arrive. Rain or shine. He always was one of the hardest ones to beat but we would all try. Sometime we could but most of the time he got 1st. We really enjoyed him. We will remember and miss those fun days for as long as we live. We Loved You Ray,
