Memories & Candles
Dear Joyce and family: Our hearts go out to you after the passing away of Jim. He was a real gentleman, faithful Church member, and friend. We always enjoyed joking with him and conversing. May God's comfort and care be real to you and special Christmas blessings to you all!

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Jim. I always enjoyed the conversations we had at the golf course. He always had a "comment" that would make me laugh. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My memories go way, way back to the Kanawha baseball team that took State when Jim played - also back to cheerleading with Joyce. I am so very sorry for your loss - my sympathies are with you and your family. May your love for each other help you all through this very tough time.

Joyce we are so sorry to hear about Jim. He was a good friend to our family and a mentor to many. I look back on those years that we went to the APAI Convention and for many of us younger folks, well lets just say Jim had some fun with us. But he always took time to teach us about asphalt. He will be missed.

Joyce, Randy and Family - Our deepest heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all. Jim had a very strong and positive influence in my professional career while I was the Executive Director for the Asphalt Pavement Association of Iowa. Jim was always personable and willing to help in any way. Krissy and I pray the Lord comforts you through this difficult time and may God bless.

Joyce and family, my sympathy to you for your loss. I was very sorry to read in the Mason City Globe about Jim's passing. I remember you as our neighbor to our backyard in Garner. My parents, ( Doc & Jean Ryan) enjoyed you both. I think I visited with you at a funeral in Garner at UMC. We lost both Mom & Dad this year within 3 months of each other. Again, I am so sorry for your loss of Jim.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Jim was a very important part to all of your lives and to everyone else he knew. I still remember when he would come to the CHS football games and cheer as loudly as the rest of us. He was so proud of Barb's boys. He also touched our lives in his visits with Bruce during his time with cancer. He will be missed. Peace & love, Jeanette
