Memories & Candles
I am Russel Williams' mother and I have so many found memories of the time that Russel shared with your family. He was so fond of Sharon and felt very comfortable in your home. Many have been blessed by her life works. I offer my sympathy to you all at her passing. Regards, Margaret Williams

Dear Michael and Susie,
Your mother and I were in the same Breast Cancer support group, and
I admired her so very much. She was a great example to me and to the
other women, and I loved her love of purple, Mexican food, travel, and family.
She spoke of you often and was always so excited to plan a visit
May the lord bless both of you. Cecile Belan

Susie and Michael,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a lovely, kind, and very gracious lady. I have so many fond memories of all of us in high school and your mother is a big part of those memories. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. I wish I could be there with you in person.

When Sharon retired from the President's Office in 2003, her campus friends wrote a poem-in-many-voices called:
"34 Things We Will Miss About Sharon"
1. Her beautiful smile.
2. Her authentic Texas accent.
3. Her genuine interest in people.
4. Her photographs from exotic travels.
5. Her friendship.
6. Her ability always to work us into the schedule.
7. I'll miss her happily greeting me every time I walk into the president's office. She always seems genuinely happy to see me.
8. I will miss her infectious can-do spirit. She

I (Jenni) first met Sharon when I was in high school, dating Buddy & Sharon's newphew, Ben (son of Tommie McGraw Sherrod). That year, we were invited to the Voyle Ranch for Thanksgiving. What a fun experience it was, staying at their beautiful ranch with the entire McGraw family & attending the UT & TAMU game! We returned to the ranch at Thanksgiving several years later, after we married & had our first son. Ben & I also spent several
