Dear Michael and Susie,
Your mother and I were in the same Breast Cancer support group, and
I admired her so very much. She was a great example to me and to the
other women, and I loved her love of purple, Mexican food, travel, and family.
She spoke of you often and was always so excited to plan a visit

15. Her graciousness. She's among the most gracious people I have ever known.

17. Her sincere appreciation of Mexican cuisine. "I just luuuv Mexican food. I just can not live without Mexican food."
18. Her loyalty to the Longhorn football team ...often expressed through her creative use of burnt orange clothing and lots of longhorn jewelry.
19. Her compliments with a bit of a bite: "I just luuuv your haircut -- this time."
20. I will miss her talent as the master of protocol.
21. I will miss her as a confidante.
22. I will miss her compassion, empathy, sense of humor, and unconditional support.
23. Her love of anything purple.
24. Her honesty and directness -- She tells her age!

27. Her pride in her "kids" and grandchildren.

30. Her use of Texan-isms, like: "Good night, nurse!" "Are you feeling SHABBY?" "Pitiful Pearl." Oh Lordy Lordy." "Flambocious." "Oh you oughta' write a book." "Well I'm not a SLACKER!" "I know - DRIVES ME CRAZY. It SHORE does make me WUUUN-DUUR."
31. I will miss her positive attitude.

I (Jenni) first met Sharon when I was in high school, dating Buddy & Sharon's newphew, Ben (son of Tommie McGraw Sherrod). That year, we were invited to the Voyle Ranch for Thanksgiving. What a fun experience it was, staying at their beautiful ranch with the entire McGraw family & attending the UT & TAMU game! We returned to the ranch at Thanksgiving several years later, after we married & had our first son. Ben & I also spent several
