Anthony F. Moscardelli Obituary

Tony and his brother Frankie lived across the road from us. Tony always hated when he had to look after Frankie, who was probably around 6-7 years old. One time , Tony and I were going to do something, but Frankie wanted to tag along. Tony said sure after we play a game. The game consisted of Tony and I playing catch with a hard boiled egg. When Frankie joined in, Tony substituted a regular egg. He tossed real high

Tony Moscardelli was a life force! I have so many memories of Tony and Judy. Memories of great food, funny stories, hilarious jokes and, most of all, love of life and family. Dancing at Octoberfest and dining at Tosi's. Spending wintry days at their apartment when the neighborhood roads were closed by the amazing snow of the late 1970s. Taking photos of the adorable and much loved Little T when he was just a baby.

It is very hard to lose

I did not know Tony as an adult, but only in gradeschool at St. John's. He was a handsome boy with a beautiful smile, warm and kind. Our "date" for the Kiddies Ball at age 10 is one of my fondest lifetime memories -- Tony so handsome in his white dinner jacket and so polite. He obviously grew into a wonderful man. And though I haven't seen him in over 50 years, I feel sad at his passing. The world was richer with him in it. And I am grateful to have known him.

We thank you for helpful advice in home and family matters. You treated us as long lost friends each time we met. Your love and respect for your wife made us a better couple. Your face is always smiling in our minds. You will be sadly missed, our dear Tony.
