David, having lost two sons (Davy and Jeff) I can certainly understand a little of what you are going through. I can only say, let His peace carry you through your time of sorrow...and He will. I often think of you, wondering where you might be and remembering the visit we had years ago when you were still in golf at a course near Raleigh. And I have never forgotten my best friend, your Dad and some of the great times of years ago. God bless you and yours during this difficult time.

Allyson & David, my heart breaks for you both. I know that Hogan was and still is your pride and joy. With your guidance, Hogan turned into a fine, respectful young man. You both should be very proud, as I know you are. I was fortunate to have met Hogan when he started Kindergarten...it was amazing to watch him blossom into a young man. I will never forget Hogan or his awesome smile. May peace be with you.

David & Allyson,
The last time I saw Hogan was back in 2007 when he broke both of his wrists and Allyson sent me a picture of his casts. She said to look at the colors - one red and one Carolina blue. He did that to make both parents happy. I couldn’t help but laugh. I will always smile when I think of Hogan. As I read all the messages and well wishes from those whose life he has

We are so very sorry for your son's sudden death. As we have grieved for the lost children in Connecticut, we grieve for your same overwhelming loss. We send our sympathy and prayers. I hope he and his grandfather Bill have found each other by now.

My name is John. I worked with Allyson for about three or four years. She was a very friendly young lady who loved to talk. She was s always doing “little” projects while at work. Whether it was putting a scrap book together, making a lamp shade, knitting; she had to stay busy. The amazing thing was that all of these things centered around her family and you guessed it; mostly on Hogan
I met Hogan when he was around nine
