Carol was such a nice lady, I always enjoyed talking to her at the restaurant many years ago and then the post office in more recent years.Another fine member of our community is gone, and our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Carol Dixon, a Saint. Always giving in her community. Show all who knew her the "Hands of Christ". Always ready to pray and serve. She left an example for all of us. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Carol's death. I'm sure the world is a better place because she lived. The last time we talked she mentioned how she loved her Lord. I remember when she would bring Aunt Mayne to see Dad and Mom, she was so cheerful and loving.

We grew to know Carol Dixon through her wonderful son, Evan. We know her to be kind, gracious, loving and generous. Her leaving will leave a huge hole in the lives of her children and grandchildren, as well as the community of Hamden and those of us beyond the immediate community.

A wonderful and caring lady whom made me feel welcome each time I came to visit her. We would have talks about the years before when I began my hunting endeavors on the Dixon farm. She always was positive and had encouraging words of wisdom that i will always remember. She will be missed!

So terribly saddened to learn of the passing of this wonderful lady. Carol was our neighbor for many, many years and became our adopted grandmother. She will truly be missed.
