I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Pastor Ratliff. I met Pastor Ratliff and his family while he was pastor of Glennville Freewill Baptist Church. I was a soldier stationed at nearby Ft. Stewart and was invited to attend his church by a coworker. Pastor and Mrs. Ratliff and the great people of the church made me feel welcome with great fellowship and home cooked meals. For someone far from home, these folks were a Godsend.
God Bless you all.

Sorry to hear about brother Archie. "Footprints in the sand" . At times like this Jesus is your comforter. Can u imagine what brother is experiencing now? I have read a lot on heaven. The words "come up hither" we can hear at any moment. Fond memories of the Ratliff family. I remember when pastor Archie crashed at second base during softball game. Lol!

Pastor Archie preached the funeral of my infant grandson, Matthew Caden Jones several years ago. That was a very difficult time for my family, but Pastor Archie trusted God for the right words to say. Those words were so memorable, that they made a life changing impression on my brother. He said that every life had value no matter how short, even 6 days. Pastor Archie's life was a testament to the one true living God. He will be missed

I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Paul prayed much for Brother Archie from the time he learned of his diagnosis. Undoubtedly, those two have found each other by now! My prayer for you is that you will rest deeply and absorb the love and concern so many are offering on your behalf.

Pastor Ratliff was an amazing man of God. Our family will always remember the day he sat on our couch in our living room and lead our two sons to the Lord after he had already lead us to the Lord the Sunday before that Wednesday evening in August 2005. He will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Portia and family,
My heart is so heavy for you and your family. I feel like we have lost another family member because Pastor Archie and you are so special to our family.
My sister, Sandra, and her family were so blessed to have him for their Pastor and he was so faithful during her sickness. I thank God for Archie and Portia's service to God and showing us how to live in adversity. After my husband, Bob, was unable to
