Memories & Candles
Missing Grandpa tonight. Vacation has finally settled down and the emotions have a moment to settle back in.
Thank you for inspiring me to be the best man I know how to be, Grandpa. Without you I wouldn't be the man I am today. You will always hold the most prized spot in my memories. I can't wait to tell my son just how wonderful of a man you were.

So many good (better than good) memories growing up and as an adult. The summers in Edinboro were the BEST. I will cherish ALL my memories with Uncle Jack. There's no better santa! May you cherish all of your memories and I'm wishing all of ya'll to find strength and peace through God's love.
Love,
Sal

Uncle Jack was my only uncle and very dear to me as a child growing up. I remember visiting the family in KY and all us cousins would have a blast playing together. I remember hearing for the first time the word "tote" and did not understand what it meant, not being a southerner, at the time. Since then, I have become one. We were honored when he and Aunt Janet came to Alabama for Brad's wedding. It was great

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. There are no words to make you feel better, but know he is in that peaceful valley. He can now celebrate with Jesus the true reason for this season that he loved and made special for so many.

My memories of the Gillespie family are childhood ones. Growing up in Pioneer Village a small subdivision where everyone knew each other, and played as children. The Gillespie house was always open to the neighborhood kids. I am so sorry for your loss may God be with you at this hard time .

I first met Jack and Janet when Corey and Christie got married. I remember that where Jack was involved, there was always a lot of laughter. I know that he was greatly loved by his family and will be missed forever. I am glad I was able to know him, even for a short time.
