Joe, I will really miss you. You watched me grow up! I still miss seeing Frank and yourself on Sunday nights cutting up or digging into the dinners. And who could forget the Monday lunches of my youth at the J.O.! Good memories my friend!

Joe and I shared a mutual involvement in good music for many years. I am especially fond of Joe for a special favor he did for me many years ago. He allowed me to buy his Selmer Tenor, which was in mint condition and he made it very affordable to me. I cherish this memory of Joe since it was a very genuine mark of our friendship.

I was blessed to hear Joe's music and to feel the warmth of his kindness and humor. Although that was many years ago, with someone as special as Joe it seems like just yesterday. Wishing the family comfort and peace.
