I was blessed to meet Mrs. Martin when I came to Taylor in 1968. She was the sweetest, kindest Christian lady that had a great influence on my life. Not only was she my school counselor, but gave me Christian guidance in a time that I needed it the most! I have always loved her and will cherish our memories together. I miss you Mrs. Martin.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your lose. Mrs. Martin and I worked together at Taylor High School beginning in 1981. She and Mr. Martin were kind, helpful, and encouraged me to be a good teacher. I loved both of them dearly. She was someone you knew that had the love of God in her heart and took special opportunities to share her love of God and children daily. Shirley Campbell

I always loved running into Mrs. Martin. I never had her for a class; I was too young, but she knew me.

I just want to add that I am saddened to not be able to attend the service, my current husband lost his mother on November 2, we will be in Chicago cleaning out her condo. I want to express my love and gratitude to David Watkins, Ruth and HI and the many friends and relatives who cared for her. Marcie will be there with her family, her children are so precious! Marcelle was my mother-in-law for 4 years. I was married to her son Richard, when he died. She was the kindest, most dedicated Christian I ever met. She was always so kind to me, and my girls. I enjoyed going to visit her with Richard, and meeting her brothers and sisters and their families. We loved attending the First Baptist Church of Waldo with her. She was a dear, sweet lady and I know she will be missed by many.
