Memories & Candles
I know you won't read this, but I just needed to write it. Your absence has left a big hole and you are missed more than words can tell. So many times I've needed to talk (like right now), but you aren't here. It's been almost three months since you left and a so much has changed in those three months. A big void where you used to be is the one thing that has remained constant...

You would have been blessed by all the people that came to honor you at the funeral! True blessing!
Now comes the hard part of going forward without you. It might be a while but we do have the promise of seeing you again in Heaven w our Lord. Hebie

Had the pleasure of getting to know Joyce when Hopper Middle School opened and when were in the need of a Bi-Lingual student whom need a Psy. eval, I had to call on her and also needed for ARDS I had to invite her. She had a great personally and always smiling. Cy Fair School District has lost a very wonderful and dedicated and caring individual. She will be hard to replace! Joyce has earned her wings and the Lord as gained another Angel. Peace be with you and your family for eternity!

Joyce came into my life by way of my sister, Ava Stewart. Though we never met face to face, the love and friendship she shared with my little sister made me feel like I knew her as surely as if we were blood family. It is the mark of a "special person" who can touch lives through the hearts of others.
I felt this loss the moment I got the phone call that she had passed and suddenly she was more

I'm sure you are singing in heaven with great joy and reunions from loved ones that have gone on before you. Thank you for always reaching out with encouraging words and notes. God Bless and comfort to your family left behind. You and your family will always be in our prayers and thoughts.

Joyce was a very special person and I was very fortunate to work with her for six years and to have her as a friend. She was an extraordinary psychologist and a joy to be around. I will miss her positive attitude, her quick wit and her playful nature. CFISD has lost a very caring and knowledgeable psychologist.
