Almost like a distant portrait that would come and go from the Roeder homestead Carol was always my mystery cousin. Too much like an aunt and especially like aunt Eileen. Like a wisp of wind in my life Carol was so distant for me as a child.

Grandma Carole was always there to help someone. She never let anyone go hungry and loved everyone. She was a incredibly strong person and loved my Grandpa Leon with everything she had. As much as this hurts that she has passed away, I can say I'm ok with this since she's back with Grandpa Leon. I love and miss them both.
