Memories & Candles
I was so sorry to hear about Big Daddy Don's passing. I was one of his partners when he worked on the Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit. He was such a pleasure to work with. I cannot remember when he did not have a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye.
I am also sorry I did not find out about his funeral until the day after. I would have liked to meet his family and tell them he will be missed and thought of fondly.

Although I did not personally know your father, I had to send my condolences. There were so many law enforcement vehicles at BFH yesterday I wondered who had passed away and knew it had to be someone very special. After reading about Don Brooks, I knew I was correct. What an amazing man! I also am an only child and buried my mom last April. Know that your father left a mark on the world for the better and in the hearts of many. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Ann Monk
