Beverly Sue Burk

Beverly Sue Burk, 75, of Vevay, IN, passed away at 12:05 PM, Saturday, February 16th, at her residence.
Sue was born in Crawfordsville, IN on March 12, 1937, a daughter of the late Mildred (Havercamp) and Otis Todd. She was a graduate of New Ross High School. On June 27, 1958 she married Bernard Burk who survives her. Sue and Bernie were married almost 55 years. She was a member of the Mace Methodist Church and the Bennington Eastern Star. She worked as the Branch Manager for the Indiana DMV in Vevay, IN., retiring in 2002. Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her devoted husband Bernie, Sue is also survived by two daughters, Pam McClure, of Patriot, IN; Debi (Bob) Lucas, of Moorefield, IN; a son, Brad (Lisa) Burk, of Vevay, IN; by grandchildren; Lance McClure, Tiffany Lucas, Bradlee Burk, Braden Burk, and Randa (Josh) Combs and by great grandchildren; Zach and Makenna Perkins and Mason and Ellie Combs; by two sisters, Janis Jorgensen, of Brazil, IN; Marlis Hankins, of Advance, IN; and a brother, Marlin Todd, of Brazil, IN. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, by a sister, Sharon Peeples, and by a son-in-law Mike McClure.

Services are private at the convenience of family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Foundation of Switzerland County Inc.
