Memories & Candles
Steve and family. I am so saddened to hear about Andrea. She was my first boss at USA Group. After moving to Michigan 7 years ago, I lost touch with her. I knew she was sick but I didn't know how sick. I don't use Facebook very often and just found out today.
I have very fond memories of Andrea, especially the Elton John/Billy Joel concert. She was one very special friend and person. Always had a smile on her face and very friendly to everyone. God bless her and your family.

I met Andrea through the Pitcock family. She was always so sweet and friendly. Then I ran into her at Indian Creek Church and got to really know her from church and visiting with her after service on Sunday. She shared with me her struggle with cancer but she had such a strong faith in God and really enjoyed helping others. She always had a smile on her face. I will miss her but I'm glad she is at peace with our Lord.
My sympathy to Steve, Lorisa and Megan.

I remember many emails between Andrea and myself concerning her fight against cancer. She always remained steadfast in her faith and strong in her resolve. Her love for life, family, and God was ever so apparent. May her family and friends be surrounded with love, peace, and hope during this time.

I first met Andi at USA Funds. We talked almost daily, but the surprise came to both of us when we ran into each other sy our daughters school. Yes we were neighbors. Our daily conversations became more than work related. Then Lorisa joined our scout troop, what a small circle of life. Through the years mine and Andi's talks were now family. Steve,Lorisa , and Megan I'm sorry for your loss. Andi was Avery sweet lady. Keep her love for life alive with a daily smile.

Steve and girls: I want you to know how much I truly loved caring for your Andrea. She taught me so many lessons of grace, dignity, faith, courage and the appreciation of every day of life she was given. Every conversation I had with her she inspired me. The last six years seem to have been a journey with many high and low points. Andrea had such trust and faith in God to walk with her during this journey. We

I had the great opportunity to work with Andrea at USA Group/Sallie Mae. She was a remarkable person, wonderful to work with and always had a infectious smile. My heart goes out to the Bates family.

Andrea and I grew up together on the Westside of Indy and attended grad school, middle school, and high school together. Her personality was so upbeat and funny. She always had a love for life and our Lord. Andy, as I called her, would play basketball with me at the park when we were young. I played at her home many times and enjoyed talking to her mother. Andy was so smart in school and made it seem so easy
