He’s in a better place right now
Than he’s ever been before;
All pain is gone; he’s now at rest;
Nothing troubles him anymore.
It’s we who feel the burden of
Our sadness and our grief;
We have to cry, to mourn our loss,
Before we get relief.
We know we’ll reconnect with him
At the end of each life’s road.
Perhaps they are not stars in the sky,
But rather openings where our loved ones
Shine down to let us know they are happy.

Grandpa I love and miss you so much. It has been very hard to be away from you these past few years, but just know that I thought of you everyday and I will miss our phone calls. I know that you are in a better place now and I am so lucky to have had such an amazing man in my life. I'm sorry that I can't be there for my family right now, I wish I could more than anything but my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
