"On behalf of Food For The Poor, Inc., we would like to extend our condolences and deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Loraine VanHoorn, who was a true friend of ours and of the poor whom we serve. Loraine’s support brought life-saving help and hope to the poorest of the poor, which is a legacy to be honored. We pray for God's peace and comfort to be with Loraine’s loved ones during this time of separation. Sincerely, The Planned Giving Department, Food For The Poor, Inc. www.foodforthepoor.com/plannedgiving"

"Aunt Loraine was a vry nice lady. I am glad I shared with her at a Restaurant in Stockbridge last August. She will watch for all her children, grand children and great-grand children, from above. I met her while I was at Lorena and Robert Hemauer´s family in New Holstein as an AFS student in 1966-67.

"My sympathies to the entire VanHoorn family. Loraine was a very sweet woman who always took the time to say 'Hello' and ask how we were doing. Cherish all of the sweet memories I'm sure she has left with each of you. Gloria"
