Condolence & Memory Journal

Mrs. Grizzle was my 4th grade teacher in 1980-81. I loved her very much. Recently, she has been on my mind as my Goddaughter just entered 4th grade. I have told her stories of how much I loved 4th grade and my very special teacher. Last night I had a dream about her and had to look her up. I was sad to see she had passed. I am sure she touched many, many lives in her career as she touched mine. God bless.

I am so sorry to hear of Alice Grizzle's death. She was my favorite teacher at Woodland Heights Elementary. I learned multiplication tables and she showed us easy tricks to learning them that I have passed on to many students during my teaching days. My love of reading came from all the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books that she read aloud to us everyday after lunch. She will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

To the family of Alice Foster Grizzle
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Alice. Since I grew up across the road from the Fosters, I remember Alice as a very kind and gentle person. When I would take my dad to Nivens to get apples, I would always see Alice.
I know that she will be missed by all.
My prayers and thoughts are with you.
