Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Judy and family,

I knew your husband when I first started to work at the Defense Electronic Supply Center in the early 1980's. I worked in the same branch with him in the Electromechanical Devices Branch with Rich Marbais as our boss.

Don was easy going and always was fun to be with -especailly during our long lunches. I was known as "Carlos" and was young and wild when I worked with Don. I has so much fun and learned a lot working with Don and in that branch. I was a big "Muppet Fan" and had named everyone in the office a character. Don was "Scooter". He also was a pretty good pool player!

I lost touch with Don after leaving the branch in 1994 but his influence continued to stay with me. He was a great family man and loved his green truck.

My heart poors out to you and your family during these trying times. He was a great man with good values and principles. May God look over all of you and give you peace.

Sincerely yours,
Carl DelloStritto

Dear Seger Family,

May your memories provide you comfort. I knew Don for many years through work; and he leaves a legacy of incomparable, steadfast dedication and detail in all that he did. I'll carry with me his humor, his tolerance of others, the souvenirs from Reds' opening day, the fun times with the Magicians softball team, and the travel we had together. Always present in Don was his love for his family; he carried you foremost in his thoughts and actions.
