Marjorie Selma (Smith) Holz, 91, passed away in Peoria, AZ with family members by her side on February 18, 2013. Margie was born on January 26, 1922 to George and Selma (Brandt) Smith in Lyndon, Illinois. One of seven children she grew up in a loving family in Aurora, Illinois. She married her husband of 54 years Francis Charles Holz on June 5, 1942 and to this union eight children were born, living in Kewanee, Illinois until moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 1956 where they raised their seven children. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Selma Smith and stepmother Pauline (Smith) Crocker, Husband: Francis Charles Holz, Son: Francis Charles Holz Jr and Daughter: Barbara Ann (Holz) Miller, Siblings: Milo Smith, Wilbur Smith, Arlene Hartman, and Juanita Yoakum.

Survived by her remaining children, Rodney Warren Holz (Dawn), Victoria Lynn Keith (Mike), Richard Wayne Holz (Linda), Deborah Kay Hunt, Denise Marie Fiore (Tom) & Otto Duane Holz (Sandy) Sister: Carol Anderson (Wayne) Brother: Bobby Smith, 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Graveside services Thursday, February 21 at 2:00 PM at National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024
