Alma Cherico, a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, died on February 24, 2013. She was 81.
Mrs. Cherico was born on May 30, 1931 in Italy to the late Virgilio and Ada Bianchi. She married Pasquale Cherico on December 5, 1974. He died in August 1996. She was a good mother and sister, loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was a good-hearted person to all she met and a lover of cats. Her daughters will hold a special place in their hearts for her and she will be dearly missed by her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Kent and her husband Chris and Laura Bell and her husband Don; her grandchildren, Edward, Jonathan, Nicole and her fiancee Eddie, Ryan and his wife Tara, Dylan, and Gabby; her great-grandchildren, Taylor, Noah, and Adelyn Mae; her sister, Marie DiSalvo; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be Wednesday 4-8pm with a funeral service at 7pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Interment will follow on Thursday at 10am at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx.
