Mrs. Andrea Bates of Indianapolis passed away on February 26, 2013 at her home. She was born on January 8, 1959 in Indianapolis.

Survivors include her husband Steve Bates, 2 daughters; Lorisa and Megan Bates, 2 sisters; Rita Tague and LaVonne Salter and 2 brothers; Paul Haymaker and John Haymaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Herbert Davidson and Anna Jewel (Pitcock) Hall, her step father Floyd Hall, 2 sisters; Marla and Pam Haymaker, and a brother Billy Haymaker.

Andrea was a member at Indian Creek Christian Church and was very active with various church groups there. She enjoyed boating, cooking, reading, volunteering and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 1, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Stirling- Gerber Chapel, 5950 E. Thompson Rd., Indianapolis from 4-8 PM. The funeral will be at 11 AM on Saturday at Indian Creek Christian Church, 6430 S. Franklin Road, Indianapolis, IN 46259 with a visitation at the church from 10-11.
Burial will be at Orchard Hill Cemetery. The Reverend Charlie Coon will officiate.
