Of Fairfax, VA, passed away on July 22, 2012 in Martinsburg, WV. Dr. Fasano was born in New York to the late Frank and Frances Fasano. He is survived by his two sons A.J. Fasano of Chantilly, VA and Michael Fasano (Luna) of Haymarket, VA. He will also be missed by Sylvia Perez Fasano to whom he was married to for 38 years and his siblings: Leopold Fasano, Susan Pankow, Bernadette Cattuna, Barbara Maher and Jeanne Varley. He graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri after which he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 13 years. After leaving the Air Force, Dr. Fasano opened up Main Street Medical. For 25 years he served as a family physician to countless Fairfax Families. A funeral service will be held at Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church, on September 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Dr. Fasano's memory to the VA Medical Hospital in Martinsburg, WV.
