Carole J. (Roeder) White, 74, of Pendleton, passed away February 12, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born February 27, 1938 in Carmel, Indiana and was a longtime Pendleton resident.

Carole retired from Delco Remy in Anderson following 30 years service.

She was a 1956 graduate of Carmel High School. She loved her home and family, enjoyed flower gardening and was an avid bird lover and watcher.

Survivors include her five children, James "Jimmy" McKinzie of Sheridan, Wyoming, Michelle McKinzie Borski of Pendleton, Susan Humphrey of Anderson, Julie (husband, Richard) Gilley of Pendleton and Paula White Hoppes of Anderson; 11 grandchildren, Michael Stewart, Jeffrey (wife, Andrea) Stewart, Lisa (husband, Greg) Cauble, Steven Gilley, Robert Hoppes, LeAnna Hunton, Joel White, Brenda McKinzie, Codee McKinzie, Ashley Mullins, and Hunter Borski; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Bill (wife, Jeanne) Roeder of Sheridan, Indiana, Linda (husband, Charles) Simpson of Westfield, Dennis (wife, Judy) Roeder of Greenfield and Douglas (wife, Martha) Roeder of Lawrence; sisters-in-law, Frances Willoughby and Brenda (husband, Dunnie) Willoughby all of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Leon White; and her parents, Fred W. and Eileen (Hazelbaker) Roeder.

Services: 11 A.M., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.

Friends may call from 4 until 8 P.M., Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Lahm Chapel.
