Eleanor Puckett, 76, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Raleigh General Hospital.
Born July 23, 1936 in Shirley, WV, she was the daughter of the late John and Melvina Underwood Stewart.
Eleanor attended Oceana High School and was a 1954 graduate of Pineville High School. She was an avid computer buff and enjoyed chatting with her many online friends. She was a member of Delilah Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Milton and two daughters, Barbara Puckett and Kathy Jo Puckett.
Those left to cherish her memory are two children, Janet Kinser of Oceana and Christopher Puckett and his wife, Lanell of Princeton; siblings, Jim Pettit and wife, Leona of Paden City, WV Joan Sluss of Ft. Ashby, WV and Sue Lusk and husband, John of Keyser, WV; four sisters-in-law, Verlie Puckett, Joan Lawson, Mary Lou Lusk, and Anita Toler; four grandchildren, Allison Kinser, Adam Kinser, Tristan Puckett, and Nathan Puckett; a host of nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
