Felix Terrazas, age 88, of Adrian, died Friday, December 14, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 26, 1924, in Fort Stockton, Texas to Felix and Elauteria Terrazas. Felix married Florinda Trevino on September 9, 1950 in Adrian and she preceded him in death. Felix retired from Bohn Aluminum and was a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Felix is survived by a son, Alfredo "Fred" Terrazas of Adrian; two daughters, Tina (Martin) "Marty" Marshall and Diana Terrazas all of Adrian; one brother, Manuel (Cathy) Terrazas of Indiana; two sisters, Rosa (Antonio) "Tony" Espinoza of Texas, and Mary Vargas of Tecumseh; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Terrazas, David T. Terrazas, Richard (Ann Cox) Terrazas, Phillip (Katelyn Tuck) Terrazas, Lena (Jeffrey) Sparks, Edward (Carrie) Soto and Alejandro (Kelly) Soto; eight great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Jordan Sparks, Andrew Soto, Aliva Soto, Apollo Soto, Gavin Soto, Gabriel Soto, Hannah Terrazas and Anthony Terrazas; and his faithful dog, Selena. In addition to his wife, Florinda, he was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Apolonia Terrazas, Anita Guiterrez, Irene Marquez, and Celia Cardenas, one brother, Frederico Terrazas, two great-grandchildren, Robert Terrazas and Christopher Soto; and a daughter-in-law, Janice Terrazas.
The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father David Hudgins as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with a Vigil Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where a family prayer will be held at 9:45 a.m.
