He served in the United States Navy. George graduated from Southwest Texas State University. He was a member of Dellview Baptist Church. He married his beloved wife Lena Margaret White June 8, 1957. He is survived by his wife, Lena W. Lovett; daughter, Becky Brock and husband, Keith, son, Mark Lovett wife, Terry; grandchildren, Heather Cosby and husband, Ryan, Philip Brock, Emily Ledesma and husband, Jaime, Mychal Watson, Meghan Young and husband, Mark, Natasha Castaneda and husband, Jorge, Butch Lovett, Evan Lovett, great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Alex, Aaliyah, Noah and Annabelle. Service Visitation will begin on Thursday, November 8, 2012, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012, at 10:30 A.M. at Live Oak Cemetery, Menchaca, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital.
