VAN ORDEN (NEVINS) Mrs. Gloria Dawn Van Orden, age 63 of Grand Haven, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, December 5, 2012. A member of Robinson Baptist Church, Gloria, enjoyed teaching AWANA classes. She began her career in banking at Bank of Wyoming and worked for many banks before retiring from Macatawa Bank. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mildred Nevins, and brothers, Roger and Bob Nevins.

A loving wife, mother, sister, friend, and devoted grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her husband of 42 years, Doug; children, Scott (Sandi) Van Orden, Stacie (Dan) Foley-Johnson, Carrie (Paul) Evans, Mike (Amanda) Van Orden; six grandchildren; brother and sisters, Dan (Marie) Nevins, Renee (Pat) Fortney, Robin (Don) Rozema, Tammi (Paul) Turner, Terri (Dan) Gard; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 AM, at Robinson Baptist Church, 12011 -120th Grand Haven, with Pastor Timothy Kitchen officiating. Interment will be at Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet her family Sunday from 2-8 PM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville.
