WALDRON – Mrs. Hazel E. Waldron, aged 88, went to be with her Lord Thursday, February 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Waldron, Sr.; granddaughter, Tammy Lenard; brother, Vernon Taylor.
Surviving are her children, Georgeann (Arnold) Decker, Gerry (Jack) Longstreet, Sandra (Ron) Anderson, George Waldron, Jr.; grandchildren, Rob (Cathy) Longstreet, Chad Decker, Jackie (Greg) Braun, Tara Decker, Bryan Anderson, Lisa (Brad) Eldridge, Mark (Janine) Lenard; great grandchildren, Christian, Joseph, Maggie, Michael, Jack, Kristi, Elizabeth, Alexis, Madeline, Ayleigh, Brynn, Kaelyn, Greysen; special sister-in-law, Margaret Johnson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 18 at Cornerstone Church, 1675 – 84th Street SE. The family will greet relatives and friends Sunday 5 to 8 PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
Hazel will be remembered as the ultimate caregiver for anyone in need.
