CENTRAL CITY - Helen Bernice Arnold, 68, of Central City, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 9:20PM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Arnold was born July 25, 1944 in New London, CT. She was an office clerk at Oxford Mining, and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Madisonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dale Arnold; daughter Kimberly Dennis; grandson Brandon Shadowen; mother Dorothy Ann Lear; and father Avnal Lear.
Survivors include her sons, Kevin (Clarice) Dennis of Franklin, TN and Glenn Dennis of Central City; daughter Doreen (Mark Cannon) Dennis of Madisonville; step-son Brian Arnold of Granite City, MO; grandchildren Andy Hughes, Shea Hughes, Nick Cannon, Dakota Arnold, and Savannah Arnold; five great-grandchildren; sisters Shirley Smith of Milwaukee, WI and Lena Tarrants of Carmi, IL; brother Robert Lear of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Jeff French officiating, assisted by Bill Smith. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
