Henry P Sullivan 95 of Glendale AZ went to be with his Lord on Jan. 10th after a long illness. He was born May 13, 1917 in Somerville MA to Irish immigrants, Charles and Hannah (Beausang) Sullivan. He was one of nine children.
He is survived by Nathalie, his loving devoted wife of 66 years, two daughters Joan Hurton of Chealsea MA and Marjorie Ford of Rochester NH, a son Paul Sullivan and his wife Susan of Goodyear AZ, five grandchildren, Jennifer Howell, Adam Ford, Briean Sullivan Lytle, Courtney McLaren and Nathan Sullivan and blessed with nine great-grandchildren. Henry was also survived by sisters Catherine Gobron of Arlington, Mary McCarthy of Northboro and his brother Francis Sullivan from Arlington MA.
He was predeceased by a loving son Robert P Sullivan from Farmington, a sister Elizabeth Bolduc of Rochester NH and four brothers James, Charles, William and John.
Henry was a disabled WWII veteran whose career began with the B&M Railroad cumulating with Textron in 1982. He proudly served as a Strafford County NH State Representative 6 terms from 1984-86 and 1988-98 and was a long term member of the DAV, VFW, Elks and the Grange in Farmington NH. A proud and passionate gardener you would find him from sunrise to sunset turning the sod in his gardens.
A recent member of the Life in Christ Church in Peoria AZ where a memorial service will be held February 16 at 11AM, with a spring burial planned in Farmington NH. He will forever live in our hearts.
