J.C. Franklin Curry, 80, of Waterbury, passed away on February 16, 2013. J.C. was born to the late Elmer C. Gaines and Adelle (Curry) Gaines on January 7, 1933 in Anderson, SC. He was the first black Tow Truck/Auto Body Company Owner (Harry's Auto Body) in Waterbury, CT. He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Peggy Edwards Curry; son, Jeffrey Curry of Waterbury; daughters, Regina Curry-Daniels (James), Tammie Curry both of Waterbury; sister, Yvonne Gaines of Waterbury; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by, sister, Blandina Williams.
