Jim E. (James Edmund) Lauten
45, passed away unexpectedly from heart failure on February 9, 2013. Jim was born the beloved son of Marlene (Righter) Hatch of Carmel, IN and Edmund Lauten of Edwardsberg, MI. Jim was a graduate of North Central High School, Ivy Tech, and The Ohio Institute of Photography. Jim was a passionate volunteer, giving of his time and resources as past Governor of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 2138, where he organized many fundraisers for the children of Mooseheart and the local community. He also volunteered his photographic skills to AYS (At Your School), a unique greater Indianapolis not for profit before and after school program that fosters creative arts expression.
First and foremost, Jim was a loving, thoughtful, kind, joyful son, brother, nephew and friend. His great sense of humor and compassion for all living things will be missed into eternity.
