Mr. John Dale Liljestrand, 85, of Casselberry, Florida passed away Monday, December 31 in Casselberry. Mr. Liljestrand was a pharmacist for 35 years and is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Carol, daughter Kathy, 2 grand children Brian, and Kaley, and 2 great grandchildren Dominic, and Kayden. Mr Liljestrand was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a Veteran of WW II serving in the US Army, and was very tech savvy.

I met Kathy, Dale's daughter, in 1974 in Ft. Myers, FL. We became BFF. I met her lovely parents the following year. Shortly after I moved to Kansas, they moved to Florida to be nearer their family but I saw them everytime I visited Kathy and always treasured my time spent with them. Dale was a bundle of energy following the racing circuit in the 5th wheel for many years. After that lifestyle became difficult he maintained a lively interest in many different subjects and became quite proficient on his new laptop. He was a dear, gentle, kind man who would do anything for anyone and I will miss him very much. God Bless You All
