Jordanna (Jordi) was born on July 19th, 1961 and passed away on November 9th, 2012. Jordi spent her first 18 years in Los Angeles, California and graduated from William Howard Taft High School in 1979. She left Los Angeles and moved to San Diego where she attended college and has resided ever since. Jordi graduated from San Diego State University and pursued a career in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy with a speciality in child abuse and domestic violence. Receiving her MFT, she started her own practice: Counseling and Behavioral Specialists: A Family Counseling Corporation where for 25 years, she and a team of therapists worked together with patients to help deal with a variety of family issues. Her determination to help others became extremely evident in her professional and private life.

In 1985 she met her husband Rainer Wasilesku with whom she had two wonderful children, Alexander and Natasha. During 25 years as a devoted wife and mother and successful business owner, she developed a passion for cooking, and through the help of the cooking channel, she attempted to bring her newly learned knowledge to the kitchen table. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday and her family benefited from her expertise in cooking the turkey and all its accompaniments.

Jordanna loved her family trips abroad, especially to Germany (her husband's homeland). She and her family grew to love Germany and she was instrumental in reuniting her husband with his family there. As a result both families have grown very close and continue to visit and keep in constant touch.

Although her medical conditions often had a negative impact on her daily life, she always showed incredible strength and compassion for others and was an amazing wife and mother. She will be missed by many who loved her, but knowing that she always will be with us, gives us great comfort and strength.
