Joseph R. Wichrowski, age 94, of Brooksville, Fl passed away in his home on January 16, 2013. He was the Husband of the late Lila Wichrowski who passed away in March 1994.

Born in Philadelphia, PA he was a son of the late John and Mary Kathryn (Torchan) Wichrowski. He served our country during World War II in the Merchant Marines. Prior to his retirement he was a Maintenance Supervisor for the Honeywell Corporation. He moved to Hudson, FL in 1956 and moved to Brooksville in 2009. He loved his Mercedes and working on old cars. He enjoyed gardening and raising pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, cows and horses. He loved his dog, Rusty.

He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Diana wife of Daniel Bohman and Mary Kathryn wife of Kevin Sciglia all of Brooksville, FL. He has 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Flossy wife of Vince Lagamba of Norfolk, VA and Lucille wife of Gilbert Tucker of Philadelphia, PA.

A memorial service and gathering will be held on January 24, 2013 from 4 to 6 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 504 E. Jefferson Street, Brooksville, FL with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:30 PM.
