Larry Thomas Cheshier, 65, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, February 12. He was born in Dallas, Texas, on June 14, 1947, to JT and Allene (Stone) Cheshier. He grew up in Dallas and Mesquite. As a teenager, he worked for Minyard Food Store. He then was employed at First National Bank at One Main Place in downtown Dallas and worked for the Dallas County Sheriff's Department for 10 years, leaving there as a Captain in charge of Personnel. He entered the home building business in the early 1980's, a career that lasted for the next 32 years. Throughout his career he worked for Braewood Homes, Raldon Homes, Vestal Homes, Sanford Homes, David Weekly, Sovereign Homes, Centex, Fox and Jacobs, Pulte, D.R. Horton and most recently with Beazer Homes at Cobb Farm in Frisco. He was the quintessential sales counselor, consistently receiving awards for Salesperson of the Quarter or of the Year. He was a man of honesty and integrity.

Larry enjoyed reading a good novel, cooking, grilling, eating out at El Fenix, and most of all, spending time with his family. He loved anything to do with cowboys (the real ones, not the football team) and westerns – movies, memorabilia, and the Texas Rangers (law enforcement, not the baseball team).

He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Terry Cheshier; children, daughters Adrienne Zevenbergen and husband Reid; Virginia Cheshier; April Prather and husband Michael; and son Lane Cheshier; sister Paulette Davis and husband Mickey; and nieces and nephews.
