Linda Faye Davidson, 65, of Monroe died Sunday, February 24th at St. Francis Hospital after a brief illness. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 27th 5-7 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe, La. Linda will be forever loved & long-remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed spending many hours with her brothers and sisters, especially her twin sister & "bestest" friend, Glenda. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Clyde Davidson and Alice Irene Davidson and her brother, Kenneth Wayne Davidson. Survivors include her daughter, Kimberley Hummel; 2 grandsons, Dakota and Brock Hummel; sisters, Carolyn Grubbs, Marilyn Gray and husband Charles, Sandra Herring, Glenda Mercer, Sharon Laborde and husband Charles, Theresa Wilkerson, and Tammy Davidson; brothers, Gary Davidson and wife Lynn, and Johnny Davidson and wife Mable; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her special care giver, Sophie. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
