Ms. Lydia E. Koutze

I met Lydia through Ricki Crescenzi who I have been friends with since third grade. I remember the first time I met Lydia at Ricki's home and I had never met anyone quite like Lydia who embraced life with so much emotion and love. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends and cherished each day as though it was her last. She brought such joy and enthusiam to a conversation that you wanted to stay and talk with

I met Lydia through Ricki Crescenzi who I have been friends with since third grade. I remember the first time I met Lydia at Ricki's home and I had never met anyone quite like Lydia who embraced life with so much emotion and love. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends and cherished each day as though it was her last. She brought such joy and enthusiam to a conversation that you wanted to stay and talk with her all evening. Although I did not see Lydia often she left me with such fond memories and they will always be with me. May Lydia's family rest knowing that Lydia was an Angel and she will watch over everyone.

To the Koutze Family:
I am trying to find the words to convey my sadness to you in the loss of your sister who was one of my dearest friends. Lydia was beautiful, the all-time optimist with the most contagious of laughs and she was so much fun to be around. She was incredibly intelligent and I always felt a little smarter after spending time with her. She loved her Mom and all of her family, friends, and her little dogs.

I knew Lydia through Linda Richardson Lawson. Lydia had a wonderful happy spirit. I remember her long fingers, so perfect for playing the piano. She was intelligent and articulate. I am sure she had many friends.
