LILES, Marian "Marianna" Maniscalco, 95, a Tampa native. Preceded in death by her husband, Bill Liles and her brother, Benny Maniscalco. She is survived by her daughter, Jeri (Bert) Hesse and her son, Bill (Karyl) Liles; grandchildren, Evan, Morgan and Tyson Hesse, and Erin and Michael Liles. Marian was a proud alumni of Hillsborough High School. She enjoyed a long and varied career which ranged from running a family grocery store to retiring in her 80's from Ernie Haire Ford. She loved her grandchildren and they loved her and her sassy attitude. She loved dancing, gardening, socializing and having a good time. A past president of The Sons of Italy Lodge 1251, she was a devoted and valued member. Marian loved life, she is one of a kind and will be missed.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, followed by the Celebration of Life service at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory, to The Humane Society of Tampa Bay, 3607 North Armenia Ave, Tampa, Florida, 33607.
