Michael Anthony Nappo, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on December 30, 2012 at the age of 54.
He was born on March 3, 1958 in Suffern, New York to Aniello and Anna Nappo. Survivors include his mother, Anna Nappo of Sloatsburg, New York; sister Patricia Woods and brother-in-law Randall Woods of Falls Church, Virginia; and nephew Randall Woods, Jr. of Fallswood Church, Virginia.
Michael Nappo earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from DeVry University and was employed for 30 years with IBM in Austin, Texas, before retiring in March of 2010. He was a member of Santa Rosa Catholic Church and served as an Administrative Assistant. Much of his time was dedicated to church activities, serving others, and various community groups. Because of his selfless devotion to others, Mr. Nappo spent many of his retirement years involved in civic and social activities such as Meals on Wheels and teaching CPR classes as well. He was also involved with the EMT First Alert Team. The life of Michael Nappo was defined by determination, faith, and enormous generosity. He was highly respected and loved by those whose lives he touched.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with Rosary to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Andice, Texas. Interment will follow at Our Lady of The Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown.
